Horse Vaulting

Ian has decided to take up a new sport. He wants to do horse vaulting. We went to his first class yesterday. Since the arena is enclosed and I couldn't take a picture because the flash might startle the horse, here is a video to show you what it is.

Heaven help me.

OK - so inquiring minds want to know - how did he even hear of the sport?

And - wouldn't it be better to just start with horse RIDING before moving on to horse vaulting?

Does this mean no more trampoline? Or is this to supplement?

We saw a demonstration at the West Jordan Rodeo and he fell in love with the sport. Believe me a lot of the first lessons is basic horse riding, and apparently learning to ride the "correct" way for vaulting is a plus.

And, yes, this means no more trampoline, he would much rather learn this sport. Yes it is a very odd thing to get into, but that's Ian for you!
